Acnatac is a skin remedy for acne. Combination preparation.

Active substances




Acnatac is used for treatment of acne.


Adults and children over 12 years old. Lubricate once a day at bedtime. A small amount of gel (the size of an earthed) is dipped on the garden, cheeks, nose and forehead, after which it gently lubricates into the entire face.


  • The treatment should not last for more than 12 consecutive weeks without your doctor considering the treatment.
  • There may be several weeks after treatment start before you see improvement in the condition.
  • If you forget a dose, the next dose should be applied at the usual time.
  • Experience is missing about. treatment of children under 12 years of age.

Should not be used

Acnatac comb. should not be used:

  • If you are allergic to clindamycin, tretinoin or any of the other ingredients of Acnatac komb.
  • if you have a condition of chronic inflammation of the intestines (eg Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) or if you have previously had colitis associated with the use of antibiotics characterized by prolonged or pronounced diarrhea or stomach cramps.
  • If you or a family member have previously had skin cancer.
  • If you suffer from acute eczema (eg inflamed, red, dry and scaly skin), rosacea or acute inflammatory conditions in the skin (eg inflammation of the hair follicles) - especially around the mouth (perioral dermatitis).
  • If you suffer from certain special forms of acne characterized by small, puffy blisters and deep, fluid-filled, knee-shaped vein lesions (acne conglobata and acne fulminans).

  • Clindamycin is an antibiotic (a drug against bacteria). It inhibits the growth of the bacteria associated with acne, thus lowering the inflammatory state caused by these bacteria.
  • Tretinoin normalizes cell growth on the skin surface and provides normal rejection of the cells that clog the hair follicles in the acne-plagued areas. This prevents the accumulation of sebum and early formation of ailments (black and white blackheads).

Pharmaceutical forms

Gel. 1 g contains 10 mg of clindamycin (as phosphate) and 0.25 mg of tretinoin.

Special warnings

Acnatac comb. must be used with caution in the following situations:

  • This medicine must not come into contact with delicate skin areas (mouth, eyes, mucous membranes and irritated or exemplary skin). In case of accidental contact with the eyes, flush eyes with plenty of lukewarm water.
  • After brushing the gel, wash hands.
  • If you get prolonged or pronounced diarrhea or stomach cramps, stop using Acnatac Comb immediately. and talk to your doctor.
  • Acnatac comb. should not be applied concurrently with other skin preparations or cosmetics.
  • If you have atopic eczema (a chronic, itchy inflammatory state of the skin), talk to your doctor before using this medicine.
  • You should avoid sunbathing or solariums while you are treated with Acnatac Comb. As the agent may make the skin more sensitive to sunburn.
  • Talk to your doctor if acute skin inflammation occurs when you are taking this medicine.

Using other medicines

It is important to inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

  • Concomitant use of other skin preparations (eg medical soaps, chemical abrasives or cleaning products and high alcoholic products) may have a strong drying effect on the skin and should be used with caution.
  • Co-treatment with adrenal gland hormones, certain antibiotics (eg erythromycin and metronidazole) or muscle relaxants used in anesthesia should be avoided.
  • Acnatac comb. may increase the blood thinning effect of vitamin k antagonists (such as warfarin) and lead to bleeding. Therefore, your INR value must be checked regularly.
