Application

Cytotec® is used to prevent ulcers in the stomach if you are particularly vulnerable to developing gastric ulcer when treated with viscera, eg acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen and naproxen. This is especially true if you are older or if you have had a history of ulcer.


Dosage

Available as tablets.

  • Adults. Usually 1 tablet (0.2 mg) 2-4 times a day, possibly. along with the arthritis. The last dose is taken at bedtime.

Note:

  • The tablets should be taken immediately after a meal to reduce the risk of side effects.
  • Should not be used in children.
