Do I have "high hamstring tendinopathy"?

Questions:

Hi Network Doctor.

For about 1-2 weeks ago I started hanging clothes to dry. As I stretched out, I suddenly got a strange pain in the left-hand ball. The next few days the pain was still there. At one point I forgot it, but it only lasted 2-3 days, so I could feel it again.

I have searched a little online where I found some articles. I read about "high hamstring tendinopathy", which I think I have now. I would like to know how I can get it checked?

What else is it going to be for the symptoms (painful tenderness high up in the back and deep in the ball) I have?

and what I can do to get rid of the pain?

I'd better remember to mention that I started training in the fitness center since January 1st, 2017, where I have been training approximately a year ago. 3-5 times a week.

I do not know if it's a pain in my pain, but I hope to answer, because I want to go out and train again as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance

Sincerely. one asks

Dear asks

Immediately I do not think there is a "Tendinopathy". It would be a more "long term" load condition that triggers this.

I think you've made a little stretching and got a "fibrous injury" in your muscle.

It lasts 4-6 weeks before the pain goes away.

You should be careful not to get over again, as this may cause damage to "break up" / be prolonged. It is better to give it a little rest the first weeks and so carefully take care of rehabilitation / excitement.

You may well train the rest of the body.

Yours sincerely
