Dosage
Available as a syringe injected under the skin, into a muscle or in a vein.
- The dose depends on the nature and severity of the disease.
psoriasis
- Usually 10-15 mg once a week. The dose can be gradually increased to a maximum of 25 mg once a week. Once the desired effect has occurred, the dose is gradually reduced.
rheumatoid arthritis
- Adults. The starting dose. Usually 7.5 mg once a week. After 4-6 weeks the dose may be increased by 5 mg every 3 to 4. week to a maximum of 25 mg once a week. Once the desired effect has occurred, the dose is gradually reduced.
- Children and adolescents 3-16 years. The dose is calculated from the patient's body surface. Usually 10-15 mg per m2 1 time a week. The dose may be increased to 20 mg per dose. m2 1 time a week.
Crohn's disease
- Adults. Initial dose 25 mg once a week. Effect can be expected after 8-12 weeks of treatment.

- Co-administration with other agents that may affect liver function, such as azathioprine (agent for organ transplantation), certain arthritis agents (leflunomide and sulfasalazine) and isotretinoin (anti-acne and psoriasis), increase the risk of liver side effects.
