My tongue raises when I eat what can it be?

Dear Network Doctor

I have some problems with my tongue. When I eat and drink, my tongue gets swollen and very tender I can hardly eat and drink. Other diseases I have is asthma / allergy. Hope you have an answer as to what might be causing me to have these problems.

Best regards one asks

Dear Questions

I can see you suffering from asthma and / or allergy - but unfortunately you do not provide more information about this. But I am completely convinced that the reason your tongue rises and gets sore when you eat and drink is that you must be allergic to what you are taking. So if you have not already been investigated for your allergy, it must be what it takes to find out what you are more sensitive to. Therefore, I would recommend that your doctor convey an investigation of you for what you are allergic to.

Yours sincerely
