Zydelig is used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and to follicular lymphoma (a particular form of lymphoma).

Must only be delivered from hospital.


Dosage

Available as tablets.

  • Adults. 150 mg twice a day.

Note:

  • The forgotten dose can be taken up to 6 hours after the scheduled time.
  • Dose reduction or temporary pause in treatment may be necessary due to side effects.
  • The tablet should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush.

Special warnings

  • Treatment with Zydelig should not be started if you have an infection at the same time.
  • All patients should have prophylactic treatment with antibiotics throughout Zydelig treatment and for 2-6 months after end of treatment to reduce the risk of infection.
  • All patients must have taken blood samples at least every 14 days in the first 6 months of treatment.

  • Certain epilepsy agents (phenobarbital, phenytoin) and rifampicin (tuberculosis) reduce the effect of Zydelig.
